Their debut album was created in starkly differing environments; the expansive desolation of the desert, and lush bloom of the forest.
Created by Stephanie Carlin & Carey Clayton, this LA-based duo goes beyond the confines of alt-rock in order to embrace an ethereal sound that blossoms from soft melancholy to enlightening hopefulness.
Representative of the duality imbued in their songs, the duo embraces both light and dark to arrive at a deeper truth.

About: Stephanie & CAREY
Carey Clayton is the Music Director of Fore Fader and he has an impressive track record producing songs that have hundreds of millions of streams for household brands like Tribeca Film Festival, MTV, CNN, Master Chef, iTV, etc.
He has extensive experience with international touring, notably as the guitarist for Great Good Fine Ok.
Carey is the music director of Fore Fader both on tour and in the studio. He performs all the instrumentation and is the mixing engineer. He is also accountable for the visual aesthetic of the Fore Fader brand.
Stephanie Carlin has been teaching artists, creatives, and entrepreneurs how to build profitable communities for 7 years now. Inspired by Amanda Palmer’s 1M kickstarter and the wildly profitable Patreon community that followed, Stephanie built the Truth School community, with gross profits hovering $100k in 2020 and rising to $146k in 2021 (she finally met Amanda in 2019, singing on her Patreon-only single release).
With over 15 years in the music scene and hundreds of performances behind her, Stephanie became a marketing expert during COVID. She is now a paid consultant fusing growth hacking and visibility strategies with energy work to clear the emotional insecurities around beings seen. She currently runs the Truth School community.
Stephanie is accountable for the marketing and operations of a profitable Fore Fader brand. She produces all the social media and music videos along with co-writing and producing Fore Fader music.
